The Best new business award is for a business that has taken a risk to make their business into a reality.

What we are looking out for: 

• All businesses that have been running for less than 12 months are eligible to enter. 

• Have demonstrated potential for growth in either one of the following: revenue, progress, development, or customer satisfaction.

Business Leader of the Year

The Business Leader of the Year award is for a business that has been a leader in their fields - to both their customers and fellow community colleagues.

​

What we are looking out for: 

• A company or person that has made a contribution to business and industry through dedication and hard work.

• They have tried to make a difference to the business community either through employees or customers.

Under 30 Best Business Award

This category is suitable for any business that has been started by an individual or team aged 30 or under. This award gives true recognition and recognises their hard work. ​

​

What we are looking out for: 

• A Business started with an individual under 30 years of age. 

• They are an inspiration to business people irrespective of their age and industry.

Creative Business of the Year

This category is suitable for any creative business that has been artistic in its approach. All businesses that have an element of unique creativity are eligible to enter this category.

What we are looking out for: 

• A Business that has an element of creativity - this can be art, fashion, media, music & more. 

• They have used a creative process which has had an economic impact, or a social & cultural impact.

Most Innovative Business Award

The most innovative business award is for a business that has started something completely new and unique. All business are eligible to enter this category.

 

What we are looking out for:  ​

• A Business that uses an inventive approach to people, products or services. 

• We want to see how innovation has contributed to your success regardless of industry.

International Business Award

The International Business Award is for any business that has gone global to more than one country. ​

​

What we are looking out for: ​

• A company that has gone global with its employees or customers. 

• Their success and growth are a direct result of their international mindset and strategies.

Giving Back Award

The giving back award is for any company that has provided back to the community both in terms of charity or service. ​

​

What we are looking out for: 

• A business that has volunteered or provided service to their community. 

• Companies that have created an opportunity for a diverse group of citizens.

Sustainable Business of the Year

This award is for a Business that has put conscious effort to be sustainable in their practice and day to day activity.

What we are looking out for: 

• A business that has used ethical leadership in managing their social and environmental obligations. 

• Companies that have created a low carbon economy using sustainable products.

Inspiring working Women of the Year

This award recognises the exceptional hard work given by a woman as part of an organisation -  to grow both their personal skills and companies success.

What we are looking out for: 

• A working woman who has created growth or opportunity either in Business or as an employee. 

• A woman who can be seen as a role model for both diversity and success.
